The York Economic Partnership comprises of major businesses and business associations in York, key skills providers and City of York Council, with the focus of ensuring a thriving economy and quality jobs in the city.
The Economic Partnership is currently in the process of producing an updated Economic Strategy for the city.
This is a City-led document which will help partners define and achieve the key economic priorities for York. The aim of the process is not so much to produce a document, although it will, but to focus what we actually do in practice: the Economic Strategy is about taking planned action and making a tangible difference to people and businesses in York.
The above documents provide background to some of the inputs into strategy process as well as for wider information an analysis of York’s economy, the longlist of priorities consider, and those we are proposing to take forward.
As businesses, residents, or other key stakeholders, we'd welcome your input into the process. To have your say on the strategy and what action you think should be taken to achieve these priorities for the city, please find a link to a short survey in the 'Useful Links' panel to the right.
The forward calendar of meetings for the Economic Partnership is:
3rd December 2015
